Day 3: Oh Africa!

We're sure you've got more energy left! Let's see what day three has in store!
On the final day of the soca train excursion we invite you to experience the African aspect of the Trinidadian culture. The train will drop you off into the borough of Point Fortin where your final cultural journey awaits. Walk into and explore the Point Fortin "market place" which holds onto the African traditional "Sunday market place" theme. Several African souvenirs will be available for you to purchase there. Don't forget to get fully dressed in your African wear. For male tourists Dashikis will be provided and for female tourists African influenced dresses will be provided as well.

As the sun sets you will be invited to participate in the most vibrant aspect of  the Afro-Trinidadian culture. DANCE! Do the limbo and bongo dances to the beat of sweet African drums. You will also be allowed the opportunity to learn how to play these drums with assistance from members of the renowned Point Fortin rhythm section. Finally you will return to the train to catch some sleep before you return to your country.
